The maths

Questions about price and subscription

What does Plotr cost?
€29 a month, €290 a year (two months less than paying monthly), or €499 once for a lifetime licence. New customers try it for 2 weeks first; only then is anything charged. Prices include VAT and may differ slightly by country; the exact price is shown in the app before you confirm.
How does the 2-week trial work?
If you choose a monthly or yearly subscription, a 14-day trial starts first through Apple or Google. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end and you pay nothing. Don't cancel and the subscription starts automatically at the price shown. If you buy a lifetime licence during the trial, the remaining trial is forfeited.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Not in Plotr itself, but with Apple or Google. That's how every app works. iPhone: Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Plotr Pro's › Cancel Subscription. Android: Google Play › your profile › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions › Plotr Pro's › Cancel. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. After cancelling, the app keeps working until the end of the paid period.
Can I get a refund?
Payments go through Apple or Google, so refunds do too. iPhone: in the app, tap Settings › Contact support › "Request a refund"; that opens Apple's refund sheet. Or go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in and pick the purchase. Android: request a Google Play refund, or send us a message. We can't refund store purchases ourselves, but if something doesn't work, we help you back up the request.
What does "lifetime" mean exactly?
One payment of €499 and you use Plotr for as long as the app exists on the App Store or Google Play, on your current phone and the next, with no renewal. "Lifetime" refers to the life of the app on that store. The licence is tied to your Apple or Google account; a licence bought on iPhone doesn't apply on Android and vice versa; that is how the stores work. The first 100 buyers pay €499; after that the price goes up.
Can I get an invoice for my bookkeeping?
Apple and Google send a receipt after every payment to the email address of your store account; that is the proof of purchase for your accountant. iPhone: Settings › your name › Media & Purchases › Purchase History. Android: Google Play › your profile › Payments & subscriptions › Budget & history. We can't issue a separate invoice, because Apple and Google are the seller and remit the VAT.
New phone. How do I get my subscription back?
Sign in with the same Apple or Google account as at purchase, install Plotr and tap "Restore purchases" (on the paywall or in Settings). Your clients and visits live only on your old phone; if you migrate the old device with Apple's or Google's backup before wiping it, they come along.
